Pros
1. Really good engineers. It's a shame their talent is going wasted at C3 AI. 2. Culture of learning. 3. If you're someone who wants to rest and vest, C3 is the place.
Kontras
1. Egoistic Management who thinks they are the gods when it reality they know nothing about the product, leading to over promising and under deliverance. 2. C3 is the only company who is working from office right now, and the CEO does not care that he's jeopardizing the lives of so many people working in close proximity with Covid still ranging, as long as he makes money and keeps on dumping stocks. 3. Salary structure is poor, and you're likely to be stuck at the same base salary until you get a promotion and a meagerly hike. And then your base is going to increase at 2% after a promotion and when you bring it up, the whiny buggers will be like "But we gave you stocks!" 4. You have to be a Yes Man in order to survive. Don't like how some people run the company? You'll be asked to clear your desk. The management is so fragile that they're terrified of feedback from a new grad, unless you bend over. Sometimes it felt like working in a cult instead of a software company. 5. The CEO himself said that C3 is a services and not a software company. So if you're thinking you're coming to a Products based company, don't bother. 6. Their interview questions are way overhyped to give a sense that you're going to be doing awesome work, when in reality all you'll be doing is writing metadata. Just brush up on your leetcode and interview with the tons of other companies out there. You'll get your true salary's worth and a better package than C3. 7. There's a reason not many experienced engineers join this company. 8. TS himself once compared the death rates of Covid with car accidents and provided a logic where he said that just like you don't stop driving a car during accidents, you should come to office during Covid. If you want to work in a company run by this man and his cohorts, please feel free to do so.
