Pros
I've worked at Business-Software.com for about two years. Being a part of a smaller team has its pros and cons, but overall, you get what you put into the experience. If you show up, work hard to try and move the company forward and share candid feedback, you'll be rewarded. Not having much software experience, I've been able to learn a lot since joining the team. I've also been able to work on improving my skillset and have had the flexibility to explore tools and methods that I'm interested in, in order to help me in my role. Since starting, the environment has become more accepting of a different perspective and is making positive strides. The CEO is open to new ideas and pushes the team to think outside the box when developing strategy.
Kontras
Because the team is on the smaller side, you have to get used to wearing multiple hats, interchanging them multiple times a day and being not only able to, but comfortable in shifting task focus and priority on a dime. Job outlook is good, so long as you're putting in the effort, though career development isn't exponential.
