This department is great. Everyone I work with is knowledgeable and self-sufficient. We are trusted to get our work done and there is a lot of flexibility. Pay is decent. I have had some bad jobs in accounting/finance and this is probably my favorite job I have had.

Other departments seem to have their own issues. We are siloed from those issues so I can't speak to them.

The pay was pretty good. Remote work was flexible if you are up high enough but they always strongly recommended working in the office.

Middle and upper management was awful. My direct manager was great which is why I stayed for 5 years. The CTO they hired changed everything and brought in his people from California.
