They pay a livable wage, as long as you are in upper management or have a spouse who can supplement non-competivie tech salaries.

The literal advise given to us by HR about the homeless population that is prevalent near the Asheville location was, "don't engage them, pretend they don't exist and they should leave you alone." Once this precedent was established, I actually had a co-worked brag to me and others that they had, in fact, called the police on one of those homeless individuals because they /thought/ they might be stealing things from people and bringing them back to our area to store.
