The CEO has never led a bigger company, has minimal other industry experience, and didn’t bring in or encourage new viewpoints (execs were mostly promoted from within). - The company considers itself very inclusive, but that inclusivity is centered around its white, millennial, mostly male, early employee group who hold and exert most of the power. Outsiders are unlikely to get into the inner circles where the power/influence is. - They’ve fired their last 3 employees in charge of diversity and inclusion, including 2 talented Black women, and have fired or been unable to retain many of their other Black employees. - Limited career growth opportunities due to lack of company growth.
