Pros

There used to be plenty of pros at the company, flexibility, opportunity, good work ethic, decent managers, however things have changed now there is a new management team in. So there arent any pros

Kontras

The new management should not be in the positions that they are. Many people have left due to the way the company is now run.

Hi – thanks for taking the time to give feedback even though it is a tough read. Now in the fourth decade of my working life, I’ve come to the conviction that life is too short to spend 40+ hours a week on something that does not feed you in some fashion. I wish you well in finding a place that is in sync with your goals. At Brooks, like every other company, our success over time will depend on our ability to satisfy customers, nurture a culture that attracts and retains great people, and deliver long-term value to our shareholders (in our case Berkshire Hathaway). From a leadership point of view, we will never be perfect against these goals every day on every team across Brooks. But in 2018, we’ve never been more successful as we are the fastest growing brand in running with results at the top of our industry. While Brooks is winning on all fronts and attracting customers, talented employees, and shareholder support in record fashion, no company is a good fit for every person. Pros

Flexible workstyle Beautiful building with gym, free lunch, free fitness trainers Basically unlimited PTO & excellent employee discounts including industry discounts Focus' on employee culture a lot - almost to the extreme but it's great This brand really loves it's employees. There is an abundance of training at every level, more than I've seen at any organization. It moves FAST and they expect a lot from people but the culture is better than anything I've ever seen or heard from other brands. Pay is not what tech breeds, but it isn't a tech company. The people are amazing!

Doesn't pay tech salaries, but it's not tech industry so keep that in mind. Recently pivoted to in office 4 days but makes sense as a brand that builds consumer goods that you want to touch and feel they should be in the office. Having people work together makes the culture better. I've seen a big change from pre-Covid when everyone worked together 5 days a week to post covid to now - there was a dip when no one was in the office and now that we've been back 3 days a week it's so much better. The vibe is fun and people work better together so I'm all for this back to the office! I love being in person working with my co-workers!!! It's only a con because I know a lot of people are not happy with it but I think that's only because they probably aren't working really hard. Really no cons that I can think of. It's the best place I've ever worked.
