The workload is more about achieving a common goal than completing tasks, and you'll work together to figure out what approach to take to get something done. Managers will not stand over your shoulder while you work, but they like and appreciate your checking in with them and sharing your ideas. They trust that you know what to do, and that you'll ask questions if you don't. You will be constantly learning something new. The company's global market is reflected in its staff, and I like working with such a diverse group of people. The flexibility of working at home or in the office is a plus, though working remotely means you don't get to eat the free lunches or treats, which are pretty good.

Kontras

Product release schedules move around a lot, which makes it easy to lose focus on priorities and goals. There are no procedures, so you have to make your own.

Flexible schedule and real care about work-life balance — it’s easy to combine work with personal life. Good salary and solid benefits package — the company truly values its employees and regularly reviews compensation. Open management — you can freely share ideas, and suggestions are quickly considered and often implemented.

Kontras

Some processes can be a bit bureaucratic — getting certain changes approved sometimes takes longer than expected. Fast-paced environment — during peak periods the workload increases, so you need to be good at switching quickly between tasks. Not always enough internal documentation on some projects — new hires often have to figure things out more on their own. Office (or remote work) requires strong self-organization — discipline is entirely up to you.
