Pros

Employee Owned Company with Great Benefits and Atmosphere, and plenty of room for advancement.

Kontras

If you are not a hard working or dedicated it's not the place for you. Marginal performers will not excel.

I'm not sure it is a con but it is true - we do work hard and our employees are dedicated. Business owners work hard and our employees are owners. Those putting forth only marginal effort stand out by comparison to the rest of our team. With that said, we have fun, don't take ourselves too seriously and try to provide flexibility and work/life balance for our employees. Thank you for feedback dear hard working and dedicated employee!

Pros

Overtime pay is pretty good

Kontras

Interned at $19/hr first year in college while working with other interns from highschool making $25/hr. When accepting your offer keep negotiation in mind. Was told i would be hybrid in the office and onsite to gain valuable experience in both aspects. My first day in the office i was given a stack of invoices to input into data sheets. No context given just "hello nice to meet you here do this, thanks" kind of thing, leaving me with no background knowledge at task or guidance. This was my one and only day in the office. They preach "if you need help or want to clarify something just ask!" Anyone I went to seeking guidance on the littlest task always had an attitude or seemed annoyed. As I discussed i was promised an equal experience of office and on-site. I spent 1 day in the office and 10 weeks on site. I came into this excited about the construction management side and they sent me to site for 10 weeks, where I only did anything a general laborer would do. On the site, every higher up had no form of mutual respect and i could definitely feel they looked down on me as a younger worker. This would be a fantastic opportunity if it was labeled as General Laborer rather than Internship, but as a student wanting to get into the management side of industry with years of experience in labor, I would steer away.
