Pros
The employees that were there when I was were great, for the most part. Some perks like holiday lunches and birthdays did make employees feel special. Pay was about average and the focus of work was always changing which kept things interesting.
Kontras
Senior management (husband and wife team) leave much to be desired. Being yelled at and berated are almost daily occurrences in the company. Certain people got it worse than others, but everyone gets treated poorly eventually there. They do tend to play favorites too. Many, many people leave after a year or less and instead of hiring a replacement they will usually just pile work onto who’s left. Projects are usually left unfinished and then the blame is put on the employee working on it, when in reality it is not uncommon to have a multitude of projects on your table at once. Projects are created almost at a whim and you are expected to have them completed in ridiculous amounts of time. Many people are stressed at the company, and the customers undoubtedly notice. Over the years, many people have left due to stress making them physically ill. The only time work actually gets done is when the partners are out of town, even then every time the phone rings people get tense and hope it is not them calling to check in. Many times they will play games with you asking you to make a decision on something because they didn't feel like making it, and then will yell at you when you made the "wrong" decision. You cannot succeed here. There is no growth. The hours are terrible (open until 6:30, but very few employees actually left that early). You get questioned and berated about taking sick leave when you’re sick. It is not uncommon to be called up when sick to be questioned on whether or not it is legitimate. They also do not follow the salary laws, and everyone is put on salary regardless of whether they actually pass the salary test or not. They don’t want to pay overtime so people are just branded salary.
