Nice people and nice benefits

Kontras

Became too hierarchical, and the exec team is too controlling. Stop letting people think they're part of the decision when it is definitely not. Be more careful of the regional differences, being global is not the solution to everything. Botify is completely absorbed by the US culture and is not the great French tech company that it was before

Thank you for your feedback! I wanted to respond here, just to say, I understand how hyper growth in tech companies cause change, quickly. It’s hard to go from 100 employees to 300+ employees in less than a year and remain a flat organization. I know it’s hard to see a hierarchical organizational structure put into place but with 300+ employees, we have to find ways to provide career opportunities and promotion along with having more direct support from people managers - and that’s just super tough to do with a flat organization. It lessens opportunities for promotion and if a manager has 20 direct reports, that’s not good for the employee or the manager. And while I can understand feeling like we are more US centric because the majority of our sales are in the US, of the 93 new Botifyers we’ve hired over the past 5 months, 49 of them are in France compared to 31 in the US, meaning we are continuing to invest heavily in our French team since the core of who Botify is and the core of our DNA is that we are a French tech company. Pros

Been in the space for a long time and the tech is super solid for really large and complex websites.

Kontras

Trying to grow fast brings a lot of challenges and sometimes much less than ideal outcomes.
