Out-dated processes, systems, and technology. Bureaucracy and hierarchal. salary compensation is not competitive. Employees are very narrow-minded, especially what we call "lifers," Boeing employees that have only ever worked at Boeing. Not a lot of diversity, free-thought is not encouraged, and huge age differences between new and older employees (creates a lot of philosophical differences).
