Pros

Products can be pretty easy to sell, and you can make some good commission from it.

Kontras

Company's first priority is sales, then tech support, then customer service. The tech job is a sales job. So if you don't want to sell anything, look somewhere else for work. They force you to promote a product every phone call, and will listen in on your calls. I didn't mind the sales, but I had some friends who did. The facility is pretty nasty, especially the bathrooms. The "free snacks" = they give you $10 a month for junk food. It lasts you a couple of days into the month. No free lunch, food trucks are expensive. A lot of the time their servers and add-ons are malfunctioning. I feel bad for the customers.

Pros

I’ve had a very positive experience working at Bluehost. The company genuinely cares about its customers and invests heavily in supporting small business owners, which makes the work feel meaningful. Leadership is approachable, transparent, and open to feedback, and I’ve had strong opportunities to grow professionally through increased responsibility, cross-functional projects, and leadership development. The culture is collaborative and supportive, especially across teams. There’s a strong focus on continuous improvement, data-driven decision making, and empowering employees to bring ideas forward. Work-life balance is respected, and flexibility is treated as a norm rather than a perk. Bluehost is a great place to work if you enjoy problem-solving, collaboration, and being part of a company that supports entrepreneurs and small businesses. I’m grateful for the growth opportunities and the people I get to work with every day.

Kontras

Like any large, fast-moving company, priorities can shift quickly, and there’s always a lot happening at once. This can be challenging at times, but it also creates opportunities to learn and stretch.
