Pros
Nurses and doctors are the best they do go in depth and show that they care about their patients! The paycheck and day one learning about the company and their dramatic rebranding. Their portal is very seamless making it easy to clock in and out via phone or on campus. Commute is good.
Kontras
The pay is very low, which is likely one of the main reasons for the high turnover rate. The department I worked in also had a toxic environment. Co-workers frequently spoke negatively about former employees who had quit or transferred, and there was noticeable favoritism and employees trying to impress management. Although the company claims to value feedback through “FiFi,” they do not seem open to constructive criticism. Scheduling was another ongoing issue. If you have a doctor’s appointment that gets rescheduled—even by the company itself—prepare for frustration. Despite notifying staff and submitting time-off requests through the portal well in advance, approvals often come at the last minute. Sometimes, even after verbal approval, management delays updating the system. While I understand that management is short-staffed, timely approval of medical and sick leave is crucial, especially for newer employees who are still accruing PTO and who disclosed pre-scheduled appointments at the start of employment. Overall, my experience was disappointing, and the lack of support made it difficult to feel set up for success.
