Pros

Few good lads that work there. Was always overtime avaliable.

Where to start.... every health and safety officer that worked there lasted no longer than a year I seen at least 7 new faces at my time at bitrez. 20k a year for working with some of the most toxic and dangerous chemicals in the UK. No chances of a pay rise no matter how much money the company make. No sick pay even if you get a serious illness or if you have an accident in the work place. Its like big brother with the camera's on site the office staff could tell you what you had for dinner. The place is one accident away from someone being seriously injured or even killed. If you want to work 60 hours a week for peanuts this is the place ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK

Internally we invite all employees to raise observations through management and we strive for improvement at every opportunity. Chemical Process Operator roles are advertised with full salary disclosure and include a training period as stated on all adverts, we also offer multiple shift patterns and hours including overtime when available. Your comments will be discussed by management and actioned accordingly.

Pros

- Production Staff and QC staff were easy to approach, wanted to make changes, wanted to do better with the limited resources. - Quality Manager was an inspiration.

Kontras

- Senior Management decisions were insane, pressures to put things in place when there was no commitment to invest in proper prevention methods - Extremely clique based, theres a clear line between where Senior Management are and where everyone else is. - Absolutely no benefits, unless you consider an hour lunch a benefit. - Theres always a busy body who is part of the "in crowd" who will relay any criticism to upper management. - Absolutely no career pathway, no training beyond initial training.

New American owners, slight pay rise....but not much for handling dangerous chemicals.

No sick pay!!! Former employee had cancer and was forced to work due to no sick pay in place!! Company states why pay for employees to be off sick!!!
