Pros
Nothing at all I am seeing positive here
Kontras
I worked at Binary Semantics for about 1.2 years. In my experience, the company operates with very outdated practices and lacks a professional work culture. There is very little focus on employee growth, learning, or technological advancement. Many senior and managerial staff members appear to have limited technical knowledge and poor communication skills. Employees are often treated unfairly. Even after completing regular working hours, employees may still be judged or asked to reopen their laptops after they have already packed up. Weekend work and late-night work (sometimes until 10–12 PM) are frequently expected, and declining such requests may lead to negative remarks or threats like salary deductions. The salary offered is comparatively low, and the overall environment can feel chaotic, similar to a fish market at times. Some senior staff and managers behave as if they own the company and can treat employees however they want. Additionally, the HR process is not supportive. When employees raise concerns with HR, the information is sometimes directly shared with managers, which can lead to further issues instead of resolution. My suggestion to potential candidates is to consider joining only if you do not have better options. Otherwise, it may be better to explore other organizations with a healthier work culture and better growth opportunities.
