Pros

Coworkers were wonderful, pay was competitive (but not worth the toll the mismanagement of the company took on you)

Kontras

While the other employees were exceptional and created a positive work environment, the behavior and professionalism of upper management fell significantly short, engaging in bullying and targeted behavior that would make any HR department cringe. This lack of leadership is detrimental to the team's overall success, and financial transparency is non-existent. It felt like a constant massaging of numbers to look good to investors. The whole company is run like a weird club where, if you were "in", you were untouchable. But if you managed to be "out," you were toast. Backchanneling, gossip, and favoritism are rampant. It was appalling to see so many talented individuals driven out of the company with no regard for the damage being caused or the potential HR/State Labor Law repercussions that could (and eventually will) occur.

Pros

In general, the school clients are lovely to work with and some of the other contractors are highly skilled and professional.

Kontras

I can't stress this enough: If you are a contractor, do NOT sign on with this company. In the past year, they have never paid on time according to the contract or scope of work. They often do not reimburse contractors for travel for months at a time. They are currently three months behind on payments to contractors. There is a great underlying insecurity at the company. Every time a pay period comes around, contractors wonder if they will be paid. The answer? No. For the past 6 months, contractors receive mass emails saying when they MIGHT be paid and these dates often come and go with no payment. There is no direct message from the company's leadership. Bottom line: if you want to feel valued as worker AND you want to get compensated for your labor, as agreed, steer clear of this organization.
