Pros
- The team at Bench are it's biggest asset - Bench do well in hiring smart, mature people who know the programmatic industry in and out, and developing their staff.
- Completely agnostic tech/vendor stack - which puts the client need at top, but also allows the team to get great and broad exposure to different platforms.
- Self-determinate growth path - people are in control of their development (while working with their managers), so there's opportunities for courses and learning from other parts of the business, including coding, product, accounts, performance etc. Everyone is super hands on and keen to share knowledge.
Kontras
- Only con was the physical location up in St Leonards, which made it more difficult to see vendors or network in the industry as most are located CBD/Surry Hills or North Sydney. Does rely on more online calls. But looking forward to the imminent move closer towards the city!
