Kontras
There was a culture of stats stats stats. Finished after probation due to sickness levels Was trained by someone who had an extremely heavy cold and spent 2 days fighting to get in. The culture is your sick you come to work. There were instances of people throwing up in toilet, coming back to desk and working. People were scared to take sick. I also took time off to take my disabled partner to hospital. I made this time up. In my probation review I was told maybe this wasn't the job for me if I had caring responsibilities. Obviously not mentioned in the notes. I was annoyed when I was let go. I acknowledge my sick was high but in some way feel the company culture was responsible. In my current job or jobs previous to that sickness had never been an issue. I do feel that the fact that my partner was disabled and I had caring responsibilities tipped the balance from an extended probation to a termination
