Pros
- Some strong new executives, which led to some of the weaker employees leaving - Still a large company with resources - Some new ideas being generated - Great products
Kontras
- Silos and politics are extreme; executives will talk about each other behind their backs. They will try to have projects to take over other areas, and many people get in the middle of this. Leads to a lot of unproductive time. - Some weak executives remained...they were the ones who led Avon to the declines of today, and drive the political culture within. They are reactive, not proactive, and don't know the first thing about making a great strategy and then sticking to it. Stains the culture coming from the top. The company won't change with them around - Extreme politics in Marketing with 2 heads of Marketing, which doesn't make any sense - Not a modern company, won't invest in technology - Bringing in the same consumer expertise that didn't help in the past - Overall, don't think they know what they're doing - No growth, and probably won't be able to fix it
