This place was a nightmare from the very beginning. Almost everyone I dealt with was in Brazil, and most of them had only a basic understanding of English and zero knowledge of US business culture. I experienced system issues with their payroll vendor, and they failed to provide any assistance. As a result, my first paycheck never hit my bank account. They scheduled all-day orientation meetings on my first day, despite my having informed them that the client had already scheduled me for meet-and-greets and project onboarding. They became annoyed that I had "no-showed" for these orientations. I told them that my team had meetings every day from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m., yet they continued to reschedule the meetings during those times. They were very proud to show me their new company video. Half of it was in Portuguese, and there were no English subtitles.
