Pros
This place a treasure trove of opportunities for anyone willing to put in the effort to understand what is needed & step up to deliver value in the organisation’s journey. I’ve personally learnt a lot about how to come up with out of the box solutions to hard problems and more importantly work within the limitations of a frugal but profitable and self sustaining tech start up environment. Most folk who have managed to survive here would develop the kind of mindset that’ll ensure that they shine in almost anything they do in the future. Of course, there are also the usual tech startup perks like flexible work hours, unlimited leaves, family health insurance etc. but these don’t come anywhere near the kind of learning & experience one can get from spending a few years in a place like this esp., early in the career.

This is not the place for anyone looking for a cushy job in a well funded, cash burning, politics driven, branded tech startup. So, there is naturally a low tolerance for anyone who has that incorrect understanding of this place. However, this can probably be handled better than the way it is dealt with at the moment. There is a desperate need to more process across all areas within the organisation. Too much of experimentation to find the next big thing has lead to slower growth for the core line of business which is actually funding all the hot new experiments.
