A lying and awful business - Mitarbeiter (anonym) bei Austin Communication Group: Mitarbeiterbewertung

I worked at Austin Communication Group for about nine months. I was not your typical employee. I was older and had more sales experience than any other them, heck, pretty much all of them combined. However, that was not the reason I took the position. I was between cable jobs and wanted to get back to my roots of 30 years ago so I started going door to door. I thought I was going to get just a paycheck, but I got so much more. First, the work is hard, but you learn so much about yourself. The job does not build character as much as reveals it. Second, you will get to know a good group of very motivated people that have aspirations far beyond the front of a door. You might find lifelong friends. Third, it's a pretty fun place to work...if you are young and single. And fourth, you will get thousands of dollars worth of sales training for FREE! You might make some decent money along the way and you might want to move up in the company. All in all I would say my association with ACG was very rewarding and would recommend it to anyone out of college that wants to really learn how to sell.

It's hard work and most people don't want to do it. However, if you try you might find out things about yourself that you never knew. You can't really put a price on that.

The people running this office have the highest integrity and best vision of any company I have ever worked with. Be wary of people posting negative reviews- they are people who didn't have the work ethic or positive attitude to succeed. All it takes to be successful here is a willingness to learn, a thriving work ethic, and an unbeatable attitude. I came into this business with an MBA and no viable experience to be hired at a Fortune 500 company, so I was thrilled that ACG would take me in and train me into management. I gained over a year of experience learning communication skills, leadership development, and management styles. Needless to say, I think this is a great step for anyone looking to challenge themselves, or gain the experience to run a company one day.

This is hard work! Believe it or not, CEO's and Presidents had to work their way up starting from the bottom. I am thankful for the humbling experience of having to earn my way to the top. It made success that much sweeter!
