I had high hopes when I joined Applanix, but my experience turned out to be deeply disappointing. The work environment is toxic, with a culture that values internal politics over actual talent and expertise. Hard work and technical skills are often overlooked in favor of favoritism and biased decision-making. Leadership is disconnected from the realities of the job, and instead of fostering growth and collaboration, they enable a culture where capable employees are undervalued and underappreciated. Efforts to contribute meaningfully are often met with resistance or outright dismissal. If you’re a professional looking for a place that recognizes skills, supports career growth, and values innovation, Applanix is not the place for you.
