Pros
- Some lovely and smart colleagues - Good perks - Comfortable office
Kontras
- Not enough transparency in communication and processes from the 1st interview. Gaslighting is very normal here on all levels. Managers resort to it all the time to manipulate your perception, especially when you express concerns or just ask questions they consider inconvenient. Gaslighting is so bad that at some point you start thinking you’re going insane. - OKRs are abusive and pulled out of thin air. You can't meet the targets even by working 10-11 hours per day. They're 2-3x higher from reality to 1) keep you stressed and pressured to overperform and overtime; 2) put you in a weaker position when negotiating a raise. - Despite heavy workload and FAANG-like culture, the salaries are average or below average. They spend tons of money on parties and employer brand but can't pay market salaries - Some folks are heavily brainwashed and really believe in corporate narratives like “we’re family”, "ambitios goals", etc. Overall, people with discernment aren't welcomed, so you have to accept this situation and play family, even though dysfunctional Unfortunately, cons outwiegh pros
