In reality, these awful people only promote the ones they like because they are 100% biased. They are also the worst when it comes to paying employees well. The compensation is a joke, and anyone is better paid than you. If you don't know your worth, these evil people will pay you little. It will be hard for you if you are the sole breadwinner for your family. Some of the people in power are also terrible at managing. They think that controlling the employees equals managing them.
