Pros
Young (25-35 including Unit Management) people and great international and relaxed work environment. Amazing work-life balance in unbeatable location with both beach/mountain and countless cultural events. Although English is the official corporate language, you have the possibility of learning French which is quite an interesting thing. It is generally easy to change between teams and always keep on learning new stuff about an interesting sector in continuos expansion and growth. In my experience, I can also doubtlessly say that trainings are quite good. In my case, this has been my first full-time job position and I honestly can say that it is the perfect place for recent graduates who are seeking for an International career. People are quite helpful in general lines. It is also true that strange people are everywhere and this company is not an exception. But I cannot emit any negative judgement based on people as I read from other former/current colleagues.
Kontras
Depending on the division/department/team you can practically forget to be promoted and recognised for your work. Recruitment process quite unfair and random. Technologies used are quite old fashion and innovation is practically inexistent with exception of a couple of teams. This is why I mentioned that this is a perfect job position for people who are seeking for stable and stressless job positions. If you are seeking for thrilling innovative and fast-paced work environments though, this is not definitely the one. Tremendous gap between Consultants and Amadeus staff not necessarily in economic terms but in a lot of advantages and pluses. One clear example is in the internal restaurant where all consultants are charged with 3.77€ of fees. Amadeus staff have way more vacation days and they can participate onto on-call duties where they can get great deals of money just in one weekend.
