Pros
The best team of people you could ask to work with. Very talented and professional, driven and ambitious, yet relaxed and know how to have a good time at work. Great base pay and solid commission potential, the company compensates their employees well. Successful sales people do very well and are treated well. AOS has the best Design Architects (Pre-Sale Engineer) in the region that write scopes for some of the most talented engineers I've ever worked with. The marketing team does an awesome job planning valuable customer events and training sessions, which is a true value to the customer. From a sales perspective AOS gives you all the tools you need and more to be very successful. And the beautiful thing is that the engineering team delivers on the promises, they over deliver. Every single customer I have is wowed by our engineering talent and that is probably the biggest thing that sets AOS apart, anyone can sell you a Cisco box, no one can make it hum like an AOS Engineer can. I've not seen many manufacturing engineers or even Pre-sales guys that can hold a candle to our engineers and Design Architects. The statement that there is no work life balance on many of the reviews below is inaccurate, there is plenty of balance. Four weeks of PTO as a first year employee is pretty fair if you ask me. Bottom line, If you work hard and aren't afraid of a long day here and there you can make a great living and work with talented people everyday. The expect the best tagline isn't meant to be worn by people who don't want to go the extra mile. If you do then good for you, you will reap the rewards. It is very fulfilling to be able to truly help customers solve problems with the worlds leading IT infrastructure technology. Customers are valued and taken great care of.
Kontras
The on-boarding process is a bit sink or swim, but they are working on it. You better be a self starter if you want to get to producing quickly.
