If you're lazy, you won't do well here. Each account operates differently because of the client but procedures are pretty much uniform. You literally get out of it what you put in. If a paycheck is all you want, that's all you will get. You have to live and breath this job, and the company will notice the difference in your performance.

The cons are based entirely on your performance. Medical benefits aren't the greatest but the pay is really good.

I would work mostly alone which I enjoyed, and also being able to cover different shifts at different locations from time to time. Very easy to get some overtime hours in.

The company instructors are amazing. Very knowledgeable but some of the people they hire are just not as professional. Its a very small company. A lot of the security agents that have been working there for a long time are just there for the paycheck so its hard to keep motivated.
