Pros
holiday shutdown, flexible working hours (working from home)
Kontras
I heard this company used to be a good company to work for but not anymore.
Horrible HR (they only have one HR lady now): they had two rounds of layoffs in 2019. They would create a meeting invitation from their boss for a staff meeting, but it's really HR there to lay you off. Payroll doesn't know what they're doing, HR is unprofessional.
Lack of clinical development experience: clinical programs get delay, bad clinical design, people go in circles to revisit previous decisions, more people have nonclinical/preclinical experience without someone to push the clinical programs forward, some project managers are more interested discussing random topics than keeping timelines
Infrastructure: lack of processes, people don't know what they're doing, lack of passion, people are just there until they find their next gig
Bureaucracy: there are certain people who are "untouchable," information stays with top level, decisions are driven by personalities not expertise, roles and responsibilities are not clearly defined
