Pros

This is my third assignment with Adecco, as I am in NC now. When I made my initial call to Adecco, they were very interested and excited to help me find work. Also, while working in NJ several years ago with Adecco they were very interested in me finding the best employer to suit my experiences and character and worked hard to offer those types of assignments to be without hesitation. In fact, there were two offices who were almost fighting over me working for them. One thing I can say about Adecco is that they will try hard to find an assignment for you.

Kontras

While working in NJ with Adecco, I was one of the most sought after Admins. But even though I was sought after, I was not given any type of bonus, recognition or an increase in pay for my hard work from anyone within any of the Adecco staffing offices. Working with the staff in the Adecco office was always a pleasure and they did their best to make sure I was compensated for the assignments that lasted longer than anticipated, but I was never given any type of recognition for my hard work and for going beyond the call of duty with working extra long hours and my encounter with Managers who were extremely hard to work for and who no one else wanted to work for. Also, no vacation pay was given, but only small bonus after you worked a total of 1800 hours which was calculated and and based on only a regular 40 hour week and not the entire hours that were worked within any given week. If you did not work a total of 1800 (regular hours within a given year) you did not get any type of bonus and the cycle would start all over at the beginning of each year. To me this is obvioiusly slave work for Adecco employees, as we don't get any type of vacation pay at all. When working with other agencies, i.e., Randstadt, Kelly Services, etc. they do offering some type of vacation pay to their employees. Also, Adecco's medical insurance plan is a total joke and should be revamped without hesitation. The insurance plan only allows you to receive $250.00 worth of medical coverage and then everything else is out of pocket.

Pros

Onboarding for new hires was smooth

Kontras

My experience with Adecco Staffing Agency reflects a significant disconnect between the expectations set during onboarding and the reality of assignment execution. There appears to be a consistent misalignment between candidate skill sets and the roles they are placed into, which not only undermines performance but also creates unnecessary inefficiencies for both the employee and the client organization. Assignments are often presented without full transparency regarding scope, schedule, or operational requirements, resulting in frequent adjustments that disrupt workflow continuity and personal planning. Additionally, there is a notable deficiency in accurate and timely reporting. Communication regarding assignment details, schedule changes, and performance expectations lacks consistency and clarity. This creates ambiguity in accountability and limits the employee’s ability to effectively manage deliverables. From a process standpoint, this reflects weak coordination and insufficient control mechanisms within their staffing and reporting systems. Most concerning is the apparent lack of advocacy for the employee. A staffing agency should function as an intermediary that ensures alignment between employer needs and employee capabilities while also safeguarding fair treatment and clear communication. In this case, there is a perception that employee concerns—particularly those related to schedule changes, workload expectations, and workplace conditions—are not adequately addressed or escalated. This ultimately results in a work environment that feels transactional rather than supportive, with limited consideration for employee well-being or long-term success.
