Very Backward Thinking - Sales bei Acuity Risk Management: Mitarbeiterbewertung

Acuity STREAM next gen platform is a very powerful tool that has a lot of potential. STREAM is a comprehensive risk management platform which is far superior than the competition when it comes to managing risks in detail. However this is also the bane of this company as this leads to over complicated conversations with potential clients.

The current board and chairman have made a series of bad decisions which have led the company down a dark path which unfortunately I do not see them coming out of. In my opinion the new CEO lacks the GRC industry knowledge needed to steer the company in the right direction within a highly saturated and competitive market and has yet to show what he brings to the organisation. Direction is not clear, strategy is not clear, messaging is not clear, employee development is not a thought. Relies heavily on 3rd party consultants rather than making own decisions. STREAM platform is too complicated to sell within the SaaS industry where clients are looking for simple and easy to use solutions at low cost.

- Some talented people - Flexible working - Product has great use cases and potential - Fantastic people to work with who are helpful and honest with feedback but are also sociable

- The board is very toxic - Some poor hiring decisions has lead to a bit of a revolving door in the last 18 months - Lack of incentives to hit sales targets. A rule was recently brought in that meant if you don’t hit 70% of target you miss all commission for the quarter, which naturally demotivates people, especially if they have a chance of closing deals towards the end of a quarter but aren’t near 70% overall.
