Pros

Prior to acquisition by a PE firm obsessed with nothing but turning a fast profit, the team and culture at Accelo was incredibly supportive and obsessed with customer satisfaction and service. Geoff McQueen was an incredible leader but sadly departed as part of the acquisition.

Kontras

Since the acquisition of Accelo by Bow River, countless people in the US and Australia have been told they are no longer required despite years of dedicated service.

Pros

- the people! I haven't met someone I didn't like. That's pretty rare these days. - lots of flexibility. We are in a hybrid model and have FTO! - I actually enjoy working downtown, it's in the perfect location. - Internal promotions/progression here is strong. It's nice seeing how often people are moved upwards and get to build their careers. - Professional development stipend is a very generous chunk of change as well.

Pros

Nice office, a lot of good people

Kontras

Little room for growth due to struggling sales and revenue. Internal politicking is extreme. Not much flexibility for US employees. Startup environment without startup benefits (stock options, autonomy, improvement process). Extremely limited diversity.
