North American Division: Operational dumpster fire, passed down from CEO to CEO. Hope REI keeps the old CEO in a position where he can't tank them. Current CEO should have retired years ago, his1980's tactics (and ponytail) should stay in the past. Most of the "executive team" has no functional experience and no business acumen. Employees are fed lies daily in desperate attempts to keep them from leaving, although those with any brains are long gone or actively searching. Complete lack of ethics, company strategy is "oooh squirrel!". Compensation packages are in line with the rest of the terrible bicycle industry, where you're paid less because it's "an enthusiast industry" - aka mostly a non viable business model that's self supported and bleeding profusely.
