Flexibility, the people, close proximity to the bike path for easy commuting & dog friendly. Also, the work travel was pretty cool too. And of course the passion of bicycles, the main reason why some (seriously only a few) worked there.

No company direction whatsoever. Once a plan was in place, if there wasn't immediate success it was scrapped for something totally different. This would happen at least once a year if not more. Most employees are not valued at all and are straight up told, anyone is replaceable. Low pay for the industry. Very low moral.
