Pros
Good place for a recent graduate to start his career. Extralegal benefits are competitive (especially the company car is above average). Salary is in line with the market at the start of your career (but doesnt evolve quite in line with seniority). There is a possibility to build up experience abroad.
Kontras
As said, the salary does not evolve at the rate you would expect. Seniority is not appreciated as it should be. Bonuses are in their own "pros list" but in reality there are no subjective criteria to receive one, at least no criteria you have any influence on. Staffing is what you can expect from a box-moving company, which asist essentially is (however of course they would tell you the opposite :-)). Administration is slow and often makes mistakes. Communication is below every acceptable level and dual standards exist for some colleagues (eg: when having a sick day some employees need a doctors note, others do not). Projects are staffed up without consulting the consultants, without taking into account their personal situation or professional preferences. There is no "group contract" albeit legally required. In the past (2013) this had lead to serious conflicts with employees: bonus system was suspended, 10 out of 31 vacation days were taken from them, group insurance was suspended and promised shares were not handed out. Employees not agreeing with these measures were fired which lead to about 1/3 of all employees being fired or having left themselves. Asist is an IBM business partner (Microsoft too since 2013 but only for very few products) and distributes/maintains technology that is not competitive compared to their competitors. This is a dying niche and puts a lot of pressure on the career opportunities of their employees.
