The pay is above minimum wage so this is a good start if it's your first ever job. Good for part timers There is always something to do Maybe the discount card for when it's double discount otherwise it doesn't make much difference.

Don't turn up to work on time as they class this as late. But also don't turn up more than 15 minutes earlier than your start time as they will not pay you those extra minutes. This may sound like those minutes do not matter but if you work an extra 15 minutes every shift for 5 days that's over an hours worth of work you've done for them for free! You are always given unrealistic amounts of work to do in a short space of time that you'll never get done in time and to the standard your meant to do it to. This is so the manager can have ago at you for unfinished work. The managers enjoy belittling there staff and making sure other staff know how much ork you haven't done. Even if you do get all the work done they will always find more for you to do and then complain you haven't finished that! You do not get paid for any breaks and must take your break even if you don't want to. You'll still loose your break and will not be paid for working through it. They do not like you going to the toilet while at work this must be while on your break. So if like me they make you go on your break at 12pm and then you don't get another break till 7pm that's a long time holding in a pee. If you do go to the toilet and your manager finds out they will time you and frighten to take that time off your break. You have to work a weekend shift and it's almost impossible to get the day off unless taken as a holiday or unpaid leave. If you stay later then 15 minutes after your shift has ended you must make sure your manager knows otherwise you wont get paid for the extra. You also have to work every bank holiday unless you book it as a holiday or as a day unpaid. You do not get paid any more for working a bank holiday this only applies at Christmas where you get paid time and half. Your not allowed to book a holiday around Christmas and may only get Christmas day off. Managers only see you as a number and not as a person as they couldn't care less if your struggling to do the work as you may have an injury etc. Don't expect to ever get full time work unless your best friends with "benefits" with the manager.
