Pros
There are a few real nice people within AND that are genuine, kind and want to help.
Kontras
Please do not work for this company! I have worked for AND for a total of 3 years and so I have seen how AND has changed over the years for the worse. AND claim to be a "people-first" company, but in fact, are the complete opposite! 1) They have got rid of people who have worked for AND for under 2 years (and these are people who have no performance issues whatsoever! This is so those people do not have any employee rights to claim for unfair dismissal). AND do not have anymore money as a company and do not want to give out any more redundancy payments and make their redundancy numbers even higher (as they have already gone through a mass redundancy earlier this year). To decide to chuck employees out, especially during the cost of living crisis, is a real cruel move from this company! AND are really struggling financially as a company. Do not work here as your job is not as secure as they may make it seem! All of the things you are told in the interview that are good about the company are not true or have been taken away because of finances (training days and budget, club days, pay rises, cost of living payments) 2) Progression has turned into a popularity contest and favouritism is made very clear within AND. If you are not "popular" within your club, then you will most likely not be progressed. This results in people who become high-level, yet are inexperienced. Those who can “talk the talk” rather than “walk the walk” are at the most advantage as good, solid work is not recognised most of the time! The process of progression itself is awful. You have to prepare and perform a 10 minute presentation in front of senior staff, which again, seems to favour the "popular" and more confident employees. 3) No training/support for associate developers. They expect you "to get on with it" like the other higher leveled employees, and then if you are stuck on something, you get looked at badly. 4) AND has become very "clique-y". The cliques are made clear and they do not make you feel like you belong, meaning some people end up feeling lonely.
