Aldi doesn’t seem to know whether it is a discount retailer or full service supermarket. High productivity and unreasonable targets are still expected to be achieved but more and more jobs are being added all the time, Aldi wants to focus on customer service but stores are run simply to satisfy area managers and directors, and to pass availability audits, with no regard for customers. Some in store managers and area managers need training on how to speak to staff, some are downright rude and arrogant.
