Great place to start out, pretty lax work environment, very open about days off, vacation time, good place to learn. yearly Christmas bonus. No need to follow certain repair 'lists' or guidelines like some other mainstream repair shops. At one time was the best place I ever worked.

COMMISSION BASED PAY WHILE OFFERING A FREE DIAGNOSTIC. Paid commission or minimum wage, whatever is higher. Customer doesn't get computer fixed, you don't get paid for that job. No raises in years. Management is very steadfast on this. Despite the way its setup, if you happen to make minimum wage, almost guaranteed to be fired, especially if it happens more than 1 pay period. Above minimum wage, but not very much? likely to be fired after a few pay periods like that. Commission wasn't the original pay, and since then it has caused occasional fighting over who does a job, job padding, and finding ways to get as much from a customer as possible. IF this doesn't happen and you have whats considered to be too much 0 or low income jobs, you'll be talked to. Told to charge more. No room for growth. At one point the company was growing, but after a certain higher up left, it has stagnated. Multiple techs has come and gone, and most have gone due to the pay. 'Manager' is a glorified title with almost no real responsibility behind it, other than maybe proofreading something or handling an irate customer. At one point there was, but it has all been taken away. Very little praise, always being told what your are doing wrong. Get a good review for the company that mentions you specifically? Nothing. Actively advised to pad time, charge more than work done. Especially on location. Suggested to find ways to spend more time, or do something like mess around in CMD prompt. Businesses are especially subject to this. Website says there is a location that hasn't existed in almost 2 years at the time of writing this. Also list cell phone and tablet repair, which also hasn't been offered in years. Employees that have been gone longer than that are still listed on website. Causes confusion and sometimes an unhappy caller/customer. A tech shop that offers web design with a grossly outdated website of its own.
