Pros

Has a working culture that cares about your individual well being however...reference the cons here

Kontras

Doesn't pay enough to live. There's no way in this economy and with eggs being 5 bucks a pop that unless you already have a hefty savings, or you're already working another job/ have another source of major income, that you will survive with this one. The healthcare is also pretty bad, having to pay anywhere between 2,000-3000 before it kicks in. The work itself is meaningful, but there's alot of turnover because of pay in this role. Which can also make it more stressful depending on your assignment. You can find something similar that pays double or even triple this role. Im also going to rank work/life balance low not because the org doesn't necessarily value it... but because pay is so low and benefits so bad how do you expect people to care for themselves well?

Pros

Truly committed to providing good experiences to both employees and student population. People really care about eachother and the work they're doing. Its size makes it clear that people want the best for one another and to be transparent about every step and role in the organization. The people are what makes this place so great.

Kontras

The size can also make work feel overwhelming sometimes, in that when you see others trying their best every day, you feel also pushed to perform at 125% capacity at all times. It's great to see this effort in others but can be a bit tiring, which is likely why people do not stay for very long. It's not that people don't like the organization- it's that they want places where there are more supports in place, which is hard to find in small non-profits in general.
