Pyramid Foods (formerly RPCS) operates more than 30 grocery stores in Missouri under the Ramey, Price Cutter, Price Cutter Plus, and Smitty's banners. The company also runs about 10 Food Pyramid supermarkets in Oklahoma that it acquired from ailing Albertsons in 2007. Other banners include Save-A-Lot and discount Foods in Arkansas and Oklahoma. Pyramid Foods also sells groceries online at PriceCutterOnline.com and operates about 30 in-store pharmacies. Its larger Price Cutter Plus stores house full-service Starbucks coffee shops. The grocery chain,which has been 100% owned by its employees since 2005, changed its name to Pyramid Foods in 2008.
