Healthscreen Solutions helps doctors move from paper to a desktop screen. The company's software creates electronic medical records, checks on lab reports, sends electronic prescriptions to pharmacies, and assists with support services such as appointments and billing. Healthscreen's medical records applications help connect doctors to hospitals, laboratories, insurance companies, and related health care services and providers. Healthscreen also offers its LifeLine emergency health record product, a credit-card-sized CD-ROM which enables patients to carry emergency health information wherever they go. In September 2011 Healthscreen filed for bankruptcy.
