I had a sit-down interview with a dept manager and a supervisor where I was asked about several scenarios and asked what I would do to handle each one and asked to describe my strengths and weaknesses.

Tedious. They ask a lot of questions about your background and prior history in collections. Basic stuff really. They go into a little bit about the company background and history and ask why you think you would be a good fit. You speak on the phone with someone from the home office and then they set up an interview with your local office.
