Was given offer but was retracted last minute. HR absolutely horrible, did know inform the interviewer and interviewee about the details of the interview. After passing all the stages of the interview, I was informed that I was meeting my hiring manager for a Get To Know You session where there would be no fit or analytical questions as the interviews had been completed. When I met the hiring manager, I ended up going through the entire interview process again (fit and analytical questions) in the Get To Know You session. After my offer was retracted, HR said to keep in contact which was what I did. But I had to prompt multiple times before I could get a reply from HR. Finally when there was a new position available, HR refused to send the job description. I spoke about this to one of the managers in shell but was only given a “Good Luck”

The interview process focses on behavioral assessments and technical screenings. Candidates are tested on the "CAR" method, focusing on safety, leadership, and on job competence through structured and in depth questions.
The first round is a recorded video interview. You need to record some videos based on their questions. There were 3 questions or me, which is not very unique. About your project, your interest in Shell.
I recently completed a video interview on HireVue, and the overall experience was pretty interesting. The platform presented a large number of psychological assessment questions along with several prompts focused on workplace morality and ethical decision-making. I appreciated that HireVue allowed unlimited time to record and re-record my video responses, which took a lot of the pressure off and made the process feel more flexible and less rushed.
Each portion of the interview was fairly in-depth and required thoughtful answers, so it ended up taking around 30 minutes per section. The combination of the structured assessments and the freedom to redo videos made the entire interview feel thorough but manageable.
