      Bewerbung

Ich habe mich online beworben. Der Vorgang dauerte 1 Tag. Vorstellungsgespräch absolviert im Juli 2013 bei Core In-Store Solutions (Charlotte, NC)

      Vorstellungsgespräch

I honestly thought this was going to be something completely different then what it was. I sent in my resume for a sales representative position and I was immediately contacted about scheduling an interview. I went to the interview in Charlotte off Tyvola In what I consider to be a disgusting area. The office was not nice at all. It was actually kind of sketchy. I will add though that the receptionist was a very very attractive girl and seemed extremely sweet and talkative. I sat down with the hiring manager and he asked me a few questions about my background, what motivates me etc. Then proceeded to pitch this job to me as if he was trying to sell the job to me. He explained how I will be a manager in 6 months and then eventually get my own crew etc. The manager told me that most sales reps get roughly 3 sign-ups a day, but I find that hard to believe. Because if it was true, more people would be doing this. If everyone was getting 3 sign-up's a day at 5 days a week, this would mean that they would be making almost $2000 a week, including base pay. Meaning that you would be making almost $100k a year. And by no means is this impossible, i'm just saying that is far fetched and that I have a hard time believing it. Customers that go to best buy, sams, costco etc. they know exactly what they're shopping for. If customers want direct tv they're not going to best buy because they want to inquire, contacting direct tv is not hard. Customers do not need some jerk getting in their way of shopping trying to hassle them on signing up for a service that they don't want. That's just my opinion as a salesman with 8 years of experience. The job ad states in bold letters "this is not a door to door sales job" and they're right, it's not door to door. It's hassle every customer in a retail store and try and get them to sign up for something that they do not want. This job might be a good one, but it's definitely not for me. I'm sure that it would work for others that might be interested, but my time is valuable and im not wasting it.
