Well, I am a huge sucker. I learned that they offered a buyout to professional, experienced legal and litigation secretaries, so that they could hire me, with almost no experience, under the title of Administrative Practice Assistant rather than Secretary, so that they could pay me a fraction of what they pay legal secretaries! Can you believe I fell for it?? I should be STARTING AT $85K but my salary will never even get that high, ever - it is CAPPED at $70k!!!! Can you believe that in 2019? How stupid am I?
