I was referred by an employee. The first step was a call with the recruiter. He barely asked me any questions about myself or my background. He mainly went on about how he needed to hire X amount of people to keep up with growth. I can appreciate the urgency yet it seemed like they weren't really looking at you as a person, more of a number to hit. The next interview was with a manager on the team. They asked about my background and a few general SQL questions on joins. It was also quite rushed and we ran out for time. Afterward, they told me to reach out if I had any questions. I reached out via email and never got a reply to my follow up questions. A few weeks later, I reached out to the recruiter to get the status of my application. No reply.
