sometimes to hard for me to cross-team communications. lots of work has to done between difference teams. I think it also need to improved soon before it is problematic when issues arise.

Ich habe mich online beworben. Der Vorgang dauerte 4 Wochen. Vorstellungsgespräch absolviert im August 2019 bei Google (San Bruno, CA (Vereinigte Staaten von Amerika)).
The interview was for the Business Analyst role with YouTube API team.
Recruiters are good but interviewers are terrible. Interviewers didn't seem to communicate and prepare for all rounds. They don't know what they want to see from a candidate either and didn't care about candidate experience. This is one of the most disorganized interviews I've ever had.
The first question I got is "Can you give me 5 minutes to read your resume?" Then he introduced himself and asked me standard questions about my resume. He interrupted me while I was answering a question because we were out of time. Then he asked a case question about acquiring new users in emerging countries for YouTube music and a question about the actual project on the team.
Round 1: The manager didn't show up. The recruiter and I didn't get notified that he went to the mountain view office until 10 minutes before the interview. The in-person interview was then changed to video interview. He asked me 2-3 behavioral questions and 2 product case questions.
Round 2: This guy asked the same behavioral questions as the manager in Round 1. Clearly there's no communication between interviewers. All questions are behavioral in this round and he barely took any notes on his laptop. I'm pretty sure he forgot everything I said right after the interview.
Round 3: Interviewer is a product specialist on the team. He asked some general case questions and case questions specific to the role.
Followed up with recruiter twice to know that I was rejected. The reason is they don't think I have good SQL/Technical skills, which is ridiculous because I NEVER got those tests. I asked 4 out of 5 people I interacted with on the team. The recruiter said I was the first one they interviewed and there might be SQL test onsite. The manager in the phone interview also said there might be SQL test onsite. When I'm actually onsite, I asked the same question. The second and the third interviewers just said they don't know the details but they won't test me technical things in their rounds.
The interview process and structure was so messed up that I pretty much knew I would be rejected after the onsite interview. I didn't really care about the result because this is an unpleasant interview experience with such a HORRIBLE and disorganized team.
