Ich habe in Vollzeit bei Beekeeper gearbeitet (Über 3 Jahre)
*Offers many opportunities to step up (if you're proactive)
*Quickly changing environment that make the day-to-day exciting
*Very international team that helps each other out (a lot of cross-functional collaboration)
*Being involved (informed and also sometimes actively driving) in the company's overall strategy and decision making
*If you want to be able to predict how your day-to-day looks like in 3 months from now that's most likely not happening at Beekeeper
Rat an das Management
*Keep showing trust in the team
*I appreciated the moments of transparency the most, when I as an employee understand why a certain decision has been made (even if it's a tough decision)
Ich habe mich online beworben. Der Vorgang dauerte 2 Wochen. Vorstellungsgespräch absolviert im Juni 2020 bei Beekeeper (Zürich).
I applyed on their jobs web site. The process is composed of 4 interviews.
1. Interview of 45 minutes with an engineer to tell about your last experience. At the end he asked 2 technical questions. This interview went well.
2. Coding interview on shared screen with two engineers. This interview went realy bad. One of the engineers was only listening, and the one that conducted the interview had a lot of issues to guide the problem solving in the direction he wanted. Instead of helping he was making me lose time with unclear directions. Very bad experience!
After the second step I received a rejection e-mail.
The next interview should be on system design (how you design a search engine, facebook, etc).
The last interview should be one day long working on their code basis to add new features.
You should be realy motivated (or jobless) to follow their extra-long process. They abuse the fact they have many candidates! They do not motivate candidates to go there.
My advise: avoid this company!
They think they are Google, I hope they pay like Google as well.
