Your expertise, honed over years of academic study and hands-on experimentation, is paired with an unyielding curiosity about the vast potential of artificial intelligence. You're deeply familiar with LLMs such as GPT and Llama, and you've delved into the intricacies of fine-tuning and reinforcement learning. But beyond your technical prowess, you possess a creative spark, an ability to think in first principles, and a desire to push the envelope. Challenges excite you, and the idea of turning a fantastical concept — like JARVIS from science fiction — into reality resonates with your ambitions. You believe in collaborative innovation, understanding that groundbreaking solutions often arise from diverse perspectives coming together. Responsibilities:

• Innovating at the bleeding edge of AI & Agents and moving them to production and solving challenges on long-term memory, reliability, planning, reasoning, actions & embodied AI

• Implement the latest research ideas and ship them to production, focusing on areas beneficial to our AI agent.

• Collaborate with our product and engineering teams to transform your research into tangible solutions.

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, especially around large language models, fine-tuning techniques, and reinforcement learning.

• Contribute to our internal knowledge base, sharing your findings and insights with the team.

• Prototype new ideas and concepts, ensuring our AI technology remains at the forefront of the industry.

• Deliver high-quality work at a fast pace, understanding the importance of time and speed in a startup environment.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or MS in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a closely related field.

• Solid understanding and experience working with large Transformer models, such as GPT or LlaMA.

• Expertise in fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, and prompt-engineering techniques.

• Experience in working with multimodal or vision models.

• Proficiency in Python and popular deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch.

• A strong publication record in top-tier journals or conferences is a plus.

• Ability to communicate complex research findings in a clear and impactful manner.

• A knack for solving problems creatively and effectively.
